1) Los Angeles Dodgers (68-12) - Surprisingly only has 2 guys over 20 ppg (come back kids Uggla and Dunn), still racking up wins
2) St. Louis Cardinals (65-15) - Josh Willingham for MVP. If Paul isn't the GM of the year, I don't know who is.
3) Philadelphia Phillies (65-15) - Anthony Rizzo is lurking.
4) Boston Red Sox (65-15) - Tough week as his bats just didn't hit. Danny Murphy seemed to go 0 for the week.
5) New York Yankees (45-35) - Joey Bats is heating up.
6) Texas Rangers (57-23) - Might not even be the best team in his division.
7) Cleveland Indians (53-27) - Panda comes back from DL, craft services costs go up.
8) Oakland Athletics (47-33) - Kicking butt and taking names, despite having their pitching coach throw some innings last week.
9) Chicago White Sox (55-25) - Leads their division on the backs of Ajax and Trumbo. Added Kershaw to solidify the rotation.
10) Kansas City Royals (50-30) - Has a lot of underperforming bats at the moment and Wright is coming back to earth.
11) Houston Astros (44-36) - As I have said all along, they are an excellent team.
12) Cincinnati Reds (48-32) - That sucking noise you hear is the Reds. Wally Backman had a closed door meeting with the team prior to this week. The pitching staff has been singled out as being the weak link.
13) Pittsburgh Pirates (42-38) - This team will need Youk if it wants that WC spot.
14) Washington Nationals (45-35) - The Melk man is lactating wins in the nation's capital.
15) Atlanta Braves (41-39) - Almost went 0-8 last week if it wasn't for the suck squad from Cincy. An early favorite for the WC is currently reeling.
16) Milwaukee Brewers (37-43) - Utley on rehab, Hosmer starting to hit, ALbert has come around...we all knew this was coming.
17) Colorado Rockies (29-51) - Just can't seem to stay healthy. Pedroia playing hurt, Tulo is hurt. WTF is up with Upton. Sometimes you just have one of those years.
18) Tampa Bay Rays (38-42) - Mike has made some excellent moves to make him my pick for AL East champ in 2013.
19) New York Mets (34-46) - Improving, but 2013 may be the season the Mets become winners.
20) Chicago Cubs (29-51) - Underperformance and tough division have hurt this team. But he does have Mike Trout, so he has that going for him, which is good.
21) Seattle Mariners (43-37) - No team has run hotter and colder throughout the year.
22) Minnesota Twins (30-50) - Started setting up for next season.
23) San Francisco Giants (30-50) - The missing piece to this team has been the Linc...I have to say though, Ernesto has made some savvy signings.
24) Toronto Blue Jays (30-50) - Just an unfortunate year all around for Daniel.
25) Detroit Tigers (28-52) - Has got some interesting pieces coming up through the minors.
26) Arizona Diamondbacks (27-53) - Goldy had a hot week, got out of Young's contract. Interesting to see this team's direction in 2013.
27) Miami Marlins (21-59) - Might be time to start selling some of the vets...they did have some very good weeks.
28) San Diego Padres (15-65) - Loving the bid on Soler, exactly the kind of moves that need to be made in order to get this franchise out of the basement.
29) Los Angeles Angels (18-62) - 8-0 week, has a decent pitching staff lined up for 2013, going to need some bats.
30) Baltimore Orioles (1-79) - Still can't believe the Bundy deal.
Pretty much the same ranks as last week. At this point now teams are what they are. Some will get hot (Oakland), some will go cold (Cincy, Atlanta), but there will probably be very few drastic movements in the power rankings, unless the Rockies, Brewers, Cubs, Mets, Rays get crazy hot and or healthy.
