well my braves did great this week to put me tied with houston and milwaukee for that 2nd WC spot, however, as it could never be all good news, lomo was put on DL yesterday and may end up getting season ending surgery

The NL Wildcard race is nuts right now.  Washington and Philly are now tied for the NL East lead.  One of them will be the #1 wildcard team.  The race for the #2 has Milwaukee as a surging favorite but four teams are close in this race...

(76-60) - Better than Houston and Pittsburgh lately
(76-60) - Horrible past two weeks
(74-62) - Playing under .500 in late July
(70-66) - Fell back but still in race

With our recent deals, the Reds are looking forward to 2013. We will now hope that our PCL All-Stars will make some impact at the MLB level...As well as a fully recovered Brandon Morrow at the top of our rotation with Matt Cain. We are also looking forward to the return of Wilson Ramos, as well as Lucas Duda's confidence.

Huge week for Atlanta who has been up/down all year long.  They haven't been to the playoffs in several years and have been in 2nd place each of the past three years.  Funny thing is that they could finish 3rd place this year yet make the playoffs.

yea this is a huge week for me.. i could go 0-8 and pretty much fall out of the playoff race, or go 8-0 and give myself some room between a couple of the other teams going for the WC
