The Godzillia of Blockbusters
« on: August 20, 2018, 11:24:13 PM »
First off I thought about this trade and the effects of and direction this would send my oldest franchise all day. Lets get to it.

To The Coyotes

RW Vladimir Tarasenko $8.1 (2017-22)
LW Nino Niederreiter $6.2 (2018-22)
RW Zach Senyshyn 2015 1/15
2018 2nd rnd (22)

To The KIngs

C Conor McDavid $8.4 (2017-22)

That was a tough type the shock is slowly setting in. With the Addition of Jason Zucker in the Douggie Hamilton trade made this trade make sence to do the more I thought about it. KInd of like when CGJ traded Nolan for Stephan and Strome. McDavid is only 21 and has years ahead of him. With what I got I think I positioned the Coyotes to contend for the west and with out a starting Goalie.......I could be HIgh but we will see how it plays out. Vlad is coming off an off year and a shoulder. Nino is solid the do everything type of power foward I like. The gamble that NHL Boston did with Senyshyn has been slow to pay off but I think he will be full time NHL in '19. and the 22nd pick in the 2nd.......I like picks. So being of sound mind and body I make this trade to shake things in an upward motion. Zilla wanted McDavid everything I threw at him to have him back off failed. When you want something bad enough........Good talks brother good luck this season.....except when you play the yotes, or Leafs, or CBJ.

Takes balls to move McDavid here, and keeping him in the same division. You're much higher on Senyshyn than myself.  :iatp:

BOOM

KABOOM! Hammer comes down.
LA confirms this deal to bring McD to Hollywood. I think he cried at the Arizona news conference after telling Zuck he wouldn't.

This is simply a trade I've wanted to make for a while now but it would take time to get a feel for what made sense after buying the Kings last December. I know I've traded away a ton of scoring in Tarasenko and Niederreiter but you have to give to get. Goodluck with your new players Blk and both our teams! :toast:

Yeah bud i felt the need to be bold. Kind of stand still the last couple years. Senyshyn should double his AHL points this year. At least i am 78% he will. Could just be high lol

:thumbsup::iatp: That's a blockbuster for sure! Nice trade boys. Time will tell who really wins this because all the players still have loads of potential.

I require from my teams, proper levels of anger, belligerence and some good ol' fashion piss 'n' vinegar.

:iatp: Congratulations to both teams for making this bold trade. Kings are sending double the point production to Arizona for McDavid who is deserving of an overloaded trade offer based on his youth and high potential. I believe Sidney Crosby helped Pittsburgh win the Stanley Cup in his 3rd season in the NHL. Let's see how long it takes Connor to help Edmonton claim the Cup.

:iatp: Huge trade guys! This is good for both sides. Giving the edge to Blkhwkfn for picking up a lot of scoring and futures.

:iatp: I like this blockbuater deal on many levels. In a fantasy league McDavid is a game changer for a franchise that trades him in for a big haul of good parts to build a winner. Tarasenko is close to Connor in points and is underrated imo and delivers hits too. I like this trade for both teams as well.

  • jmntl82: How did the other team finish?
  • Jwalkerjr88: It was dallas. I think he missed the playoffs that year. Then used the draft picks on the 2021 class. Every pick was the 32nd pick (dont remembee what the other 1st became)
  • Jwalkerjr88: Idk if anyone remembers the 2021 class but it was weak on offense outside or the top 10-15. I dont regret the deal just learned and move on. As long as you have assets, you can mold your build how you want. Picks are usually the most valuable asset because most gms want in on a draft.

  • Jwalkerjr88: The results of that draft class is here [link]

  • Jwalkerjr88: The 2024 and 2025 classes look much more promising than that one lol
    Today at 10:22:06 PM
  • BayAreaBallers: 2021 draft class was my worst class as a NFL Live gm. my 2022 and 2023 were better
    Today at 10:32:52 PM
  • Jwalkerjr88: I think it was the worst for most of us. It was a bad class overall. The top was amazing tho
    Today at 10:42:05 PM
