This is cute but I don't think it's needed. I've looked over the rules on contracts and there's plenty of rules to reduce cap if needed.

I've never seen such craziness outside the NHL. I'm glad Corey Crawford's $12 million annual cap hit doesn't sit on my books. Word is he's on the bubble this season and might get bumped permanently from the starters role.

Too bad you can't find a guy to sim the year with their EA NHL13.

Contracts should be put on ice.
As for a rollback. It would force teams to be creative but after reading some of the posts this doesn't seem like the league to do that.

This doesn't really even impact play all that much. Why fuss over this?
