I take the risk that Hiller maintains his starting job for next season. I am high on Irving but want to win now so I move him plus two other higher end prospects as well as a pick to land a solid goalie. Thanks for quick negotiations norrya!

I hate giving up a starting goalie, but my team isn't built to contend for a cup right now. Irving is a risk, but Hiller has some risk involved with him as well. I also like getting the two specs and the pick. Thanks Drew. It was an easy deal!

I had to give this one some thought because I am not that convinced in Leland Irving's abilities as the both of you are. Despite his shaky start, Irving might have a solid future with the Calgary Flames, especially if the three guys ahead of him on the depth chart do not work out. But Hiller will at least get 30 starts next season with Anaheim. Also, I do not see how you can trade for a guy like Malkin and say that you are not trying to win now.

On the flip side, I really like the forward prospects and the cap space this deal gives Minnesota. 4 mill is a lot to save. And the forwards you are getting look to have solid NHL futures. But you cannot win in this league without goalies.

I am going to  , but please realize that I am not particularly fond of this deal. I am not as convinced in Irving's abilities as you guys are, but there is enough pieces in the deal to make the risk of trading a potentially starting goalie worth it.

See I don't see how this can be approved..i have read no where Hiller lost his starting job and that Irving is the starter..sorry boys but like the Dubby deal im going with what we know right now...Norray needs more in return not much but a bit more to make it just approveable

I honestly don't like the deal either. I know how valuable goalies are in these leagues. I think Drew needs to ship more off to Ryan.

I change to a    I did not realize that Irving is not even signed. He is a UFA and belongs to nobody right now.
