When does it start?

I am game for whenever, but by the looks of it there aren't many people interested in hockey right now.

I with Carolina, I never get sick of hockey but it looks like many are either on vacation or heads are on something else.

I am thinking FA wont take long to complete.  I vote to start when the NHL pre-season is slated to start.

I'm ready to start whenever. But I do think we should wait until Rob's personal life settles down and he's able to come back.

I think sometime late August would work. Last year our free agency frenzy didn't last long, so would should have plenty of time.

Hey guys.  I'm slowly getting back to life now.  Catching up with work is my first priority.  I'm hoping to only leave you guys hanging for another week or two. 

If by chance I need more time I encourage you to get started with FA.  I want to make sure there's enough time before the season starts.

A couple of weeks sounds good to me.  It will hopefully give Doan some time to figure out what he is doing and some trades can go down after.  Waiting will make signing our FA easier knowing the teams are pretty close to the way they will be come September.

I was hoping to be able to hold out till Rob was ready so if people are good with starting in a couple weeks I would like to do that. It would be great to have our fearless leader back for FA.
