Minny gives up offense for a stronger defense. Tried so hard to send Hamrlik but to no avail. Take a risk that Lidstrom may return for another season but Minny is a win now team and therefore deals Jurcina who has been an injury concern in Minny but is a solid dman when he is in action and a top RW in Stemp for a stronger defense. Pick up Bergeron and Lidstrom who are both strong dmen as well as a pick and pick up Carcillo who we hope returns to the lineup for the playoff run. This move is in hopes that a RW doesn't get injured and to improve our defense. It took all day but thanks hockeyfreak47 for the wheeling and dealing, one of my favourite parts of the site.

i was really in need for a RW i only have 2 rightwing  playing so the fact that Lidsrtom may not play next
year was enough for me to do this deal . To corrected Drew it was 2 not 1 day of wheeling and dealing.

i almost vetoed this deal at 1st "feeling" wild were more than just walking out of this deal winning, pillaging came to mind, BUT then remembered Coyotes are fighting for a playoff spot and are a knowledgable team so without any collusion and since PHX isn't crippled by doing this deal, i couldn't really veto this trade.

This was borderline for me but I don't see Lids playing after this year and I dislike Carcillo in any format lol...so it made it easier...I think Drew won this, but looking at it deeper it for sure isnt as bad as first looks!!
