"Laugh all you want Omar, but there isn't much offense there.  You do have some power with Bautista and Reynolds and the sleeping dragons Matsui and Bruce (3)"

Yes Colby you are right, I just having fun with what I have in this team, I just hope I get to win some more weeks

I think Planet Houston (watch Superman 2) just put themselves in the wild card picture with their win over St. Louis this week. AL Central got a little more interesting with the Indians pulling a game behind of Magnum PI's favorite team. The Pale Hose are still holding on. I think we can welcome both the Jays and Yanks to the playoffs with the Sawx falling out of it. Injuries, just like in real life, took down the BoSox. Tough to compete when three of your best players are hurt, and Josh Beckett just plain sucks.

My offense finally showed some signs of life this weekend but the pitching is thin after injuries to Medlen and Motte.  Sorry Colby, you may have Medlen in the rotation for 2012 but next year is pretty much out of the equation.

I should do more scouting before I throw money at players!  I'll try and trade his prospect-ness to someone in the off-season.

I stand corrected - he had his TJ surgery... It was too high, it was too hard, who gives a Crap it's gone...I think we are arguing the same point

  • indiansnation: 2:15PM: The Dodgers announced this afternoon that they’ve placed right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the 15-day injured list with triceps tightness. The club also placed right-hander Michael Grove on the 15-day injured list due to lat tightness. In corresponding moves, the club has recalled right-hander J.P. Feyereisen and selected the contract of right-hander Michael Petersen. To make room for Petersen on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred right-hander Joe Kelly to the 60-day injured list.
    June 16, 2024, 09:21:38 PM
  • indiansnation: Mookie Betts was hit on the left hand by a Dan Altavilla fastball today, causing Betts to drop to the ground in immediate pain and then leave the game.  Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters (including Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times) after the game that Betts has a fractured bone in the hand and will be out of action “for some time,” though the former AL MVP won’t require surgery.
