That was one of the features i liked about rebel nhl... but since taking over FNHL, i really didn't want to over tinker with rules that weren't in urgent need of change or that didn't hamper the competitiveness of the league.
EXPANDING MiLR IS A GOOD THINGi do however like the idea of expanding MiLR's because of the way FNHL handles minor leaguers - they're only eligible if drafted.
CURRENT 13 MiLR LIMIT DEVALUES DRAFT PICKSthe current setup of limiting only to 13 in a 30 team league that
allows for 4 annual picks actually
devalues draft picks since teams are forced to dump prospects fairly quickly
within 1-2 yrs after drafting and let's face it...
defensemen and goalies take forever to develop.
TO BE VOTED ON MID-SEASONi would personally favour expanding MiLR's to allow for more spots.
but that's something to vote on mid-season as there's plenty to address now to get the season off the ground.
