Don't know the ext costs on Skinner or Pouliot, but I know Stastny and Goose can be extended for slightly cheaper than their current cap hits.

Stastny & Nyquist individually do better than the super star Skinner. LOL I hope that trade blurb was tongue in cheek. Skinner has a 7.7m extension coming his way. That's a tough one to swallow.

I personally think he gets traded this offseason or I would have kept him since I could franchise him. Carolina had him on the third line most of the year playing with scrubs. That new owner sounds like he will be busier than Indians Nation this offseason so it will be interesting to see what the team looks like next year.

He was an elite player the year before though.
