D Brent Seabrook, $4.2m (2017-2020)
RW/LW Rick Nash, $2.9m (2017-2020)
D Derek Forbort, $0.2m (2016-2018)

D Ryan Ellis, $3.0m (2015-2018)
RW/LW James Neal, $2.9m (2017-2020)
D - Vince Dunn (2015: 2/56 - 0 Games)

The off-season has arrived and my Eastern Conference hopefuls need to retool for next season. Giving up a veteran blueliner to getting a little younger. Swapping wingers. Ellis has a $5m extension coming his way, we can live with that. Also dealing my 1st Rounder to get Boston's pair of Supplemental Draft picks. GL to JD and the Bruins! Boston to confirm.

:iatp: Bs confirm. Worth making the deal to add another 1st rounder. Prefer Seabrook to Eliis and anytime you can add a player like Nash you make it happen. Thanks for the deal BB! :toast:

On the surface this seems to favour New York but I have to say the total points between the packages are relatively similar is you average over a period of time. That said, I would still give the edge to New York for getting younger with this trade.
