I would also like to see the voting process hidden if possible so the members of the trade do not know how we voted and so they do not hold grudges on us for doing our job.

Kind of hard when the person making the trade is on the TC.  :o

With the number of people on each TC, it would be hard to hold a grudge against like 8 people lol

:iatp: Hopefully Leighton can get some playing time, wherever that may be. Edge to LA all the way.

I suppose you could just do a poll, but that defeats the entire purpose of the TC, as you don't get feedback on how to fix it.

However, I think a poll cause a lot of trouble the reverse way. Where I could just veto any trade that Rob makes, without reason, cause I don't like him.

I've got to say veto... No dice here from me.

Take out a prospect, and it's passable enough to get an approval from me.

Technically as of right now Leighton is in the NHL, but barring Bobrovsky getting traded or injured/Bryzgalov getting injured in training camp, the only way Leighton sees NHL action is to be traded.
This sort of situation shouldn't warrant 2 prospects and cash IMO.

A prospect and cash for Leighton is passable... The guy is a career backup goalie, who made a magical run to the cup finals, with a very strong defense in front of him, and a lot of good 2-way forwards. It's not like he stole the show, or has been amazing in reg season NHL. Not to mention a huge back surgery last year that cost him a lot of the season, and raises questions about his health.

And yes, what the heck does S.Gomez have to do with the trade accepted? He's not directly involved in this trade, so no consideration should be given to him, or that situation.  We're here to evaluate the trade on the table, not other happenings in the league, that MIGHT affect the outcome of some team's cap.

I would disagree, as he was directly part of the trade, but to each it's own.

Thanks for voting.

AHEM PEOPLE, I'D LOVE TO KNOW THE RESULT HERE!!!!
 :soapbox:

There are some good FAs out there and I WOULD LOVE to know if I have money or not, thanks.
