As Burke stated, a "Monster Deal!" Ottawa likes this trade as it brings in two impressive players who we feel have underperformed thus far this season in Couture and Ellis. The first and 4th Round Draft picks are also of great value to our organization.

Preds are here to confirm.
Trading away star players to add scoring on our 2nd and 3rd lines. Also keeping an eye on the immediate future of our club with the specs coming back. It all started last summer when the Sens asked about Ryan Ellis. Here we are 3 months later.
