Flyers deal Bob for a couple young goalie specs and a ton of young talent.  I really lacked depth and this will make me a more well rounded team.

Holy crap! We sold to farm to land a top 5 goalie. With all the cap we gained from all of our previous deals, we will indefinitely be able to resign Bob to his 8.9m contract this upcoming offseason. Marleau still has some gas in the tank, but he is mostly added for cap. Fistric is added for cap too, and we will be buying him out.

We hate to move all this youth we accumilated this season, but with nine draft picks and two starting goalies going into next season, we are prepared to take this team to the next level.

It took almost a week, but we finally got it done, papps! Good luck in the playoffs.

BTW, after this deal, I will have 2.8m in cap left once this deal passes.

Build from the back-end out I say. All the rest can be replaced but stud goalies are few and far between. Good job to both on this but I'm cheering for my man Favo!

huge trade. Canes now own Smith and Bob - that was a quick rebuild. Does Philly even have a goalie anymore?
i think this is awesome and once again Philly rebuilds their MiLR instantly. Congrats on what is probably the biggest trade of the yr in FNHL.
