Sharks confirm this trade with Boston.
We wanted to move Berglund's big contract because we have plenty for Centers to take care of business at that position with way cheaper contracts. I like the prospects and 1st RD pick we're getting which fit our plans for taking this franchise to the next level in 2014-15.

if SJ is punting Pat Berglund's cap hit then i'm on side with thia trade. Win to my division rival Bruins by landing Ceci.

I feel this trade could be closer than it appears and San Jose might com out ahead long-term with Larsson, Oleksiak, Leblanc and that late First Round Draft Pick. Short-term the Sharks clear cap for other important off-season moves especially during Free Agency.

Good trade for both teams.
