I can't believe I actually traded Karlsson!!!  I really like Tatar and Hertl though.  Karlsson is a stud but his contract is high and it will give me flexibility in the offseason to sign FA's.  The pick is a lower 1st round pick as well.  I'm building for next year and I like Hertl, Tatar and the cap space I get to build on.

WHile Hertl is and is going to be a great forward in this league, I've been after Karlsson for a while. It's not like he's old either.
I like my new trio of some of the top scoring Dmen in the NHL (hopefully Letang doesn't quit hockey...).

And, I have a lot of young guns too, so that made it slightly easier to give up these guys.

The cap hurts, but it is what it is. I have a lot to play with next year anyways, barring some other crazy trades.
