You are all confused.
There is no bid to win here. I was overbid by Indiansnation for said FA. PPG mistakenly noted that the FA would go to the next highest bidder, however the FA goes back into the FA pool. I only posted the proposed buyout because once I was overbid I had moved on and no longer wanted the player.
That said, if I was going to be forced to take him, I was opting to buy him out instead, thus never bringing my roster total to 30, so as to leave Fluery up.
This post was created because PPG forgot the rule and I thought maybe the rule had changed because PPG had posted the FA would go to the previous bidder, Me.
The second misunderstanding is that PR based off of PPG's mistaken post believed I already had 30 players at the NHL level. Confirmed in his mind by looking at fantrax which has 30 active players. I corrected him by letting him know fantrax has 30 players only because I have up Fluery but in fact I only have 29 players on NHL contracts.
The fact is if I wanted to sign a 30th player, I could do so, without a violation at all, I would simply move Fluery to the milr on fantrax, however that's not what I want to do. I was never in danger of any violation. I usually operate at 30 players and still stay active in FA without violation.
The diva comment, as well as a few others it what has me upset. Let me run my team, you all run y'alls team's, I've been doing this for a long time, I know what I'm doing. It's the mods, first PPG, and then PR who were in error. Believe it or not, they are human too. Lay off name calling, lay off anything that can be taken personal, and just play hockey.
I appreciate everyone's willingness to help, just please back off. I know what I'm doing and prefer to not have to explain myself anymore as these are my team's. Mods make mistakes too gentleman.
