Been relatively content with team for a bit here, but small opening day trade here made sense for both. Relatively even production among Domi/Atkinson at exact same salary, but given Domi has dual eligibility and is younger I get a flier in Lajoie and a 4th pick.

Another small deal to add 1 more future 2nd. Howard is another great depth piece but I need roster spot and still got depth a bigs.

Place Jonathan Toews to LTIR

Would like to call up Thorton as replacement from minors + I got 1 free spot so will also use the cap and sign a FA as well.

Also minor error on spreadsheet. My cap and roster spots are overstated by 1 spot and 0.8m as Stalock is being counted. I had just enough free to cap to and sign Dubnyk to replacement deal.

My math has me at 81.4m cap and 24 spots as is.

1 more small deal as season is around corner. Adding another leaf in Jumbo Joe and had my eye on Schutlz for a while but couldn't find way to bid on him in FA with my cap cruntch. I do still prefer Pelech to Schultz given my team, especially in the block department, but if healthy Schutlz is intriguing now in Washington.

As is deal puts me just over cap and 1 roster spot so will post move to be legal upon processing.
