ProFSL Dynasty Hockey: Completed Transactions / Re: Ducks Extensions
« on: July 25, 2021, 03:35:21 PM »
Getzlaf, Ullmark and Heinen processed.

Steel and Lundestrom are ineligible as they are RFAs. If they sign a new real life contract by August 6th you can choose to accept, otherwise you will have option to winning bid during RFA period.

Also, Getzlaf is still captain so discount carries over on extension, 5.4m 2021-22 then 6.8m on final 2 years.

Please post contract values/ranking or let me know I can look into but will need final confirmation then.

Note: Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Artturi Lehkonen are ineligible for extensions as they are RFAs. You can accept real life contract should they sign 1 by August 6th or you will have option of matching winning bid during our RFA period.

1m and would like this to count due to the oversight of not catching the illegal bid by Mets.

Due to confusion here and invalid PC bids not being noticed and removed by commissioner's office, we will allow this bid and clock restarts as of the post last bid by :OAK:. Hopefully this is just a 1 time exception we have to make.

Buckets of Dimes: Rules / Off Season Poll #3 (Position Eligibility)
« on: July 24, 2021, 05:54:03 PM »
I don't think position eligibility on Fantrax has been an issue but also not really addressed, so a very fair question came up to look into it. There are different ways we could do this, but here is proposal I'd like to pass. If there happens to be lots of objection I am open to other ideas but I also think proposed way is flexible and fair way to go about it.

Player will be eligible for a particular position based on if they meet at least 1 criteria below

1. Whatever Fantrax has them at, be it a single or more than 1 position (this will not be changed, but a additional position(s) may be added)

2. If...  https://www.spotrac.com has player at a different postion than Fantrax does (will gain whatever sportac shows)

Note: spotrac will continue to remain source of truth for position eligibility specifically when it comes to franchise tag. This has worked nicely and do not want to change.

3. If... You can show credible source stating that in the previous season player has played majority of games at a position that differs from both Fantrax and Spotrac (Only looking at the previous season, so this change would be allowed only in off season)

Note: https://www.basketball-reference.com is always a good source to check but I will accept anything credible that shows proof

Specific example of how this might impact players, here is Demar Derozan, who is basically a true SG for most of his career up until recently:

1. Fantrax has him SG

2. spotrac has him SG
https://www.spotrac.com/nba/san-antonio-spurs/demar-derozan-6327/

3. based on 2020-21 season and looking at basketball reference Derozan actually played primary PF
https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/d/derozde01.html

Based on this, for the 2021-22 season if this change passes Derozan will have SG and PF eligibility (a rather unique combination but think it is fair)

Final note, I do not plan to check all players so it will be up to GM to post the necessary proof if this passes and at this point it will be updated. Any questions feel free to post but hopefully this is straight forward.

  • Daddy: My comment on the real Wolves are if they win a chip then there is no such things as bad contracts. The point of all contracts are to win Championships.
