New Record Low for the Rangers

This is a tough situation. I am in the same situation in Dynasty NHL.  I took on a team that was in a worse situation than the Rangers in this league.  I have done everything, within in rules, to turn that team around. 

Everyone in the league knew I had no shot at winning.  They were happy I was there to set lineups, and that I was on the boards.  I totally agree that no team should be throwing games, but coming into a situation like I did in Dynasty, or Jesse did here, the new owner wants to make changes.

Bottom line, no rules were broken.  Also, I don't believe that Jesse threw any games.  He didn't bench guys that were playing.  He played who he could. 

I don't think any rule change needs to be made.  Jesse is doing a rebuild, and doing everything, within the rules, that he can to make his team the best he can.

Think you guys are missing the point. Whether you call it a tanking or a rebuild there should still be a clear definition of what a minimum roster looks like. Why leave something so easily definable to subjectivity?

If I start a rebuild can I field a team with 15 players? How about 12? What is the difference between rebuilding and tanking anyway? Why leave it to case by case consideration when all you have to do is set a guideline?

Ok I understand, I think a minimum is a good idea and that would be a full lineup. I wouldn't put stipulations on the positions so it could be got around that way but a minimum of 3+3+3+6+2 for 17 minimum could be something we could discuss.

I dont think we need this as I don't see anyone else buying everyone out like I did

I'll use any loophole I can to better my team in the future so when I ask for clarity it's really a self-policing thing.
