NEWS FLASH: Winnipeg sold to JohnnyWeissFlog!

:WIN: and FNHL are pleased to introduce, all the way from Finland... the new owner/GM of the Winnipeg Jets, JohnnyWeissFlog!

Winnipeg will be in good hands as Johnny AKA Jonne brings his competitive edge to Franchise from Yahoo! CHL2 and can't wait to start making salary payments for Bryzgalov's $13.7m annual contract. ;)  Challenges facing our new European owner include:

  • Improving on the Jets' 1-1 record heading into WEEK 3.
  • Putting his ownership stamp on the team's roster.
  • Keeping a close eye on the :FLO: in his division...the the runner up in 2011-12.
  • Getting up to speed quickly on how we do things on Profsl and specifically Franchise NHL!

* get familiar with the league deadlines AND Rules
* start looking for available free agents to sign and post your transaction on the league's transaction page.
* to search for Minor Roster (MiLR) players use the Profsl.com SEARCH tool + check off "Franchise NHL: Official Rosters" to target your search.

key to staying competitive appears to be trades, FA prospect signings and actively setting your line-up nightly.

i'm just happy for you that you don't need to wake up at 4AM for a hockey draft in this league. :toast:

My Ottawa Senators have the Hinsdale Vikings but I will gladly offer up the Vikings name to a fellow CHLer. Anyway you have more reason to use the Vikings name. :>
