This could be the round's first too reach.  Is this an "Oakland Raiders-Darrius Heyward-Bey" like draft choice for SD.  With the 7th overall pick in the draft the Padres select Kolbrin Vitek, 2b, Ball State.  His signing bonus is equal to the 20th overall pick in the (real) MLB 2010 Draft, worth 1.5m.  Three things to like with Vitek, A) He can hit.  B)He's cheaper.  C)  He's in the real life BOS farm system, which I would personally rate as one of the top 3 best in all baseball.
