... though i was tempted to cast a VETO vote if only because Hedberg is quite valuable from a position (rare / scarce) + scoring (avg'ed 160pt past 2 seasons) stand-pt.

however, i know this is a legit deal that's good for both sides and is not detrimental to either team (as stated, they still have 2 bona fide NHL starting goalies Lehtenon & Varlamov on their roster + a 3rd who may sign as a backup somewhere in Conklin).

win to for landing the better player even if their of retirement age, they can still be used for another season or 2.
