I've spent 3 years building my farm and now I'm going to use it. I'm likely buying high on Guerrero but as long as he continues the year like this then it gives me a good shot at the championship. And one ship is worth all the prospects in the land. Nimmo is a good player but he's going to cost almost 5M next year that I really don't have, so including him here to get the deal done is a win-win. In terms of prospects, this is basically all my high end prospects. Peraza is going to be a top 50 at the ASB, Bailey and Bello are on track to be top 100. Beeter and Colmenarez are already top 10 in their orgs, and Varsho is likely up to stay with ARZ at this point.

Wsox agree tough haveing to move these 2 guys but injurys have killed my team this yr. So i decided to just rebuild this team and add some young tallent to my team. With the picks and young guys i got i added 10 total players to my team. I add 2 top ss in peraza and Colmenarez and add a cf in varsho i can call up and get a great player on my major league roster. Bello and beeter can be a great pair of sp for my team. Mccarthy will add debth to my of once he gets called uo this season.h

  Nice blockbuster and big pickup for Giants. Vlad is elite but if Sox feel this return helps more long term I don't have an issue and seems like solid return for a superstar.

The #1 player in the league should fetch far more than what was offered, especially with years of cost control left. Vlad is who you rebuild around.

Vlad is who you build around and to quote the GM trading away the 22 y/o triple crown candidate, "rebuild this team and add some young talent to my team".  A deal involving Vlad should involve top specs or equal talent, this trade has neither.  It's Nimmo as the headliner.  in what galaxy does Nimmo headline a trade for Vlad Jr.  Nimmo shouldn't even headline a trade for Vlad Sr. in 2021.  Then the trade had a bunch of 2nds, not even 1st round picks.  I'm high on Beeter and Colmenarez, but Comeneraz is years away and neither are current Top 10 or even Top 20 specs to headline a deal for Vlad.

I agree with what has been said.  This team has some good young talent and he should be the headliner of it.  If for some reason you don't want that, you've at least got to get his value back in a deal.
