Capitals/Maple Leafs Trade

:WAS-NHL: gets
Dominik Kubalik, $0.5m (2021-2022)

:TOR-NHL: gets
Alex Pietrangelo, $5.7m (2021-22)

Clearing cap is king here. 1.9fpg is huge at D, but I like Kub to replace that value and use that money to complete my resigns and have some fun in FA.

To acquire a top D-man you have to give something and the price to pay is also a good player. I have to absorb 5.2m with this trade but I have the space and Pietro will become my top FP/G.
