I've liked Nilsson since his days on the Island. He needs a decent defence (doesn't have to be an iron curtain) in front of him and he'll deliver the goods. Buffalo and Vancouver were not a fit. Neither is Ottawa. A place like Carolina would be nice. Even Philadelphia imo. Chicago and Dallas could even work.

There's definitely risk on both sides of this deal. The fact VGK are getting some added depth on the blueline makes them the winner of this deal imo.

It seems Nilsson's signed a 2yr extension with the DJ Smith coached Sens. He's still in the NHL for now.
