Sude’s Got a virus from what I read and will miss a min. of 5 games before being re-evaluated. Figure that constitutes LTIR.

Not sure where the hard line on LTIR comes from tho as D2D guys have been slotted there plenty in the past from what I’ve seen.

If you want to set a line on guys having to be out a min. of a month to qualify for LTIR though that’s no problem leave Green alone. I get it and am on board.

Under League & Roster Settings in the rules it says the following for LTIR:

Longterm Injured Reserve
Each team will have one Longterm IR slot.  Players on LTIR do not count against the cap.  LTIR is intended for players who are expected be out for an extended period of time: at least 10 games or 24 days.  Once a player on LTIR is healthy and back to NHL action they may remain on LTIR until the end of the current season, at which point all LTIR players who are healthy will be added back to their teams 30 man roster.

Looks like Kovalchuck wouldn't hit my starting lineup until the final week anyways (if I make it that far). Stupid Tu/Th/Sat schedule has everyone playing on the same nights.

I am very consistent about it.  Sometimes I'll let a transaction go to 'processed on fantrax' without checking on the injury, but always when I update the sheet I'll make sure the player meets these parameters.  There are gray areas here, which is why I wanted to give you the opportunity to argue your case.  Perhaps there's a report on the injury that I haven't seen, for example.

But on this one I'd say that Green doesn't qualify.

Does this change what you're doing here or can I process other than the Green move?
