Count me in as someone who gave up on him.
Albeit a long long time ago (I think I drafted him originally in the supp draft). I think he must have been just a "throw-in" prospect on a trade I made.
To be fair, he was always said to have some offensive ability. Just never got the opportunity to showed it. It certainly helps that Perry and Eaves are injured, or he probably wouldn't be getting that opportunity still.
Rob at least you're covered if Aberg fails... Sprong is the next man up on that RW! He's already 2nd line, which is far more chance than he was given in PIT. Weird for a guy who was a point per game last season in the A.
