Replacing Inactive GM's
« on: September 24, 2011, 05:26:19 PM »
There have been a few inactive GM's that I will be looking to replace. People have started asking about whether they can switch teams if they like one of the inactive teams. I'm not opposed to this, but if we do allow this, there needs to be a fair procedure (which I'm having a very difficult time thinking of). Anybody have any ideas?

I think you need to add a rule where you couldn't switch more than once in a year (or ever).

I'm strongly considering that. I don't want this to be musical chairs.

I started using this for CoC1/2. I mainly used the same concept as FGM.

I'm considering the following:

If the GM position of an organization is unfilled, a current GM may resign from their current organization and take on this role.

The GM may only switch organizations once during their tenure with the league.

GM's are to provide a list of (maximum) three teams that they may wish to switch to in the future. The list has to be provided to the Commissioner's Office prior to the announcement that the team has been made available. This rule is in place to prevent people from switching teams just to get better players.

In the event more than one GM has the same organization on their wishlist, priority will be given to the GM with the longer tenure in this league.

Any thoughts on this?

  • Daddy: Just know, if you miss time at any point of the year, not just the active season. You have missed a lot. You've probably fallen behind your competition. Ten-Fifteen guys in all three of those leagues dont ever miss any opportunities.

  • Daddy: One more thing. The NFL LIVE waiting list is longer than you see on profsl or fantrax. There are people that know people that want in that league. No pressure on anyone but i cant just hold your franchise while you draft and do nothing else.
