I wasn't going to be able to resign Ruutu and Karlsson next year with a couple other guys on my team needing paid more.  Plus I have a glut of quality D-men so moving them didn't hurt too bad.

Losing Ryan is hard as he is a quality winger but getting Ruutu is nice as he is a top 15 winger and i get 2 quality defensemen in return,Karrlson will have a great future and Pitkanen is a good talent and cheap.I think it's a good return for Ryan but i really hate to loose him but the return is good.I should be able to resign Ruutu and Karlson  fairly easy.
