Not sure what's going to happen in Montreal, but it's looking more and more like Domi is 1st line and 1st unit PP. Tremendous contract at his positions, so if this works out for Edmonton they've got a nifty piece. I could pick up a decent D with the 2nd rounder but I like Bouchard for his supposed NHL readiness. Yamomato, much like Domi, is Boom or Bust.

I have been looking for a LW for awhile now. Domi fits the bill..... Banking on he and Montreal rip it up next year.......... Giving up some future prospect for a bonifide  serviceable LW.

I still think Domi is going to be a huge producer and I like this for Edmonton.

Personally I'm not too high on Domi -- his shooting percentage has been bad for 2 years now and it's not like he has a lot of snipers to feed in Montreal.  But, the trade is a reasonable roll of the dice that he'll be more like year 1 than years 2 and 3.

Honestly, I don't particularly like this deal for Edmonton because I'm not very high on Domi but I realize that he is a bit of a controversial young player. Kailer is a boom or bust guy, so this deal makes sense.
