Big gamble on Detroit's part, but with where I finished last year, I'm up for a gamble. I like Jenner, but I like saving cap and upgrading my draft pick even more. I've had my eye on Ingram for a while. Plus, I'm also high on Gauthier.

The Rangers do this deal to add Jenner who puts up great #'s in this league. I also do this deal to add another great young active NHL forward to improve my bench if we want to compete possibly this year if not starting next season. The Rangers also add a young D-man that hopefully will be a top 4 D-men for the Caps sooner rather than later.   

The Rangers give up 2 great young prospects but we needed to add more to our bench for us to compete at some point.
