X-C/RW Andrew Shaw, RFA, $0m this year  ($2.5m re-sign)
C Filip Chytil, $m (P-n/a)
D Joshua Morrissey, $m (P-18/19)
LW Adam Mascherin, $m (P-n/a)
RW Owen Tippett, $m (P-n/a)


Vancouver Gets:
RW Brock Boeser, $0.5m (P-19/20)
C Cody Glass, $m (P-n/a)
C Elias Pettersson, $m (P-n/a)
D Olli Juolevi, $m (P-n/a)
RW Kole Lind, $m (P-n/a)
X-C Colin White, IR, $0.5m this year

The Canucks came calling for some of my players since he is a Canuck homer and has only grew to what this trade is now.

The Rangers were never attached to any of these players and were more than willing to give them up especially for 4 top prospects with tons of potential along with a Center of Johansen’s caliber. Nelson and Shaw are just added pieces to fill out my active NHL roster.

Canucks confirm the above trade.

Whatever we've done doesn't seem to be working, so taking a little bit of a step back to re-load with some younger players and prospects, who are also Canucks which is what we want to build around! We were after these guys from the previous GM but he went MIA. Replacing young talent with young talent, just from other teams. Hurts losing the NHL guys also, but I feel (hope) some of my prospects can make the NHL clubs this year. We'll see how this pans out in the long run...
