Roy: Corey and I were just talking about this. Jake wasn't aware of his roster status and would not have selected Cole if he had better knowledge on his roster. While it is his responsbility to know his roster, this still creates an issue in the draft. The best way may be to allow Jake to repick his player so that it is legal and then give people down the line a chance to repick. For example, I would take Cole if Jake doesn't and then someone may take BA's #2 guy causing a couple other changes in selections. It's best to solve now as Jake may not want to drop a bunch of prospects to clear cap room.
I think this situation happen to me some moths ago and I was given a week to drop some players to bring down my salary cap. This was the arguments you guys had "While it is his responsbility to know his roster" I understood and agree that it was my responsibility as a manager to keep track of my team and had to cut some guys that other wise i will still have.
