Hawks get Bickell (.5m through 2012 -13), 2nd rounder #12 and 7th and 8th rounder

clear 3 m of cap and get bickell back..

and i need more players so i got more picks

I did this as I wanted another 1st rounder and I like Leino. I hate to give Bicks as he is cheap and a great producer. the 2nd rounder was to offset the 1st rounder and the late picks are to help Cubs add to his roster!

Had to help a guy out with some cap as well and eat 2.9 in cap.

I need cap room for my draft picks.

Say I'm OTC and have no space.... I trade Kopitar for a 5th round pick, should it get passed out of necessity?

Kopitar for a 5th round pick is nowhere close to this trade.  I get that you're pointing out a precedent but I don't think we're setting one.  Guags is trading skill for cap room.

And oops.  Getting my trades mixed up.  But either way it's fair.
