We were going back and fourth and draft picks were left out

Cap this year is off, hence the money going back
But Hoffman will be in the $5m range even after the discount extension next year

Needed a LW though so added more youth going back the other way

I'm hoping Bennett finds his game from 3 years ago before he got that big injury in the OHL, and it translates into the NHL

Florida definitely wins in this deal, but I don't think it's terrible.  I probably am higher on Giroux than most, but I still think he has a lot left.

I agree that Florida wins this deal, so I wish I could veto just for that 

But Calgary likes it, and I think Giroux is a stud. The picks make a big difference to me and make it passable.
