Based on rosters as of 2/7/10 and the projections I'm working from:

NL EAST: PHI
NL WEST: LAD
NL CENTRAL: MIL
NL WILDCARD: NYM

AL CENTRAL: CHW
AL EAST: NYY
AL WEST: LAA
AL WILDCARD: BOS

With NYY and LAD as the top teams in their leagues.

Obviously much will change as rosters are filled out (most FA pitchers are not even included in this) and cap space is used up... I'll post again when FA has settled down.

As of today, here are my "bold" predictions:

NL West: Rockies - Haren/Upton
NL Central: Reds - I want Dan to feel good about himself until the season starts
NL East: Phillies - same team, plus Verlander

AL West: A's - I won't vote for myself
AL Central: Indians - lot of good changes
AL East: Yankees - same team

Wild Cards
NL: Brewers - since I feel sorry for feeling sorry for Dan
AL: Angels - I'll vote for myself here, though

World Series:
Phillies over Yankees

You heard it here first! :koolaid:

NL East: Phillies :PHI: - As Jake said, same team but with Verlander
NL Central: Brewers :MIL: - The lineup is good, but the starting rotation is solid as well
NL West: Rockies :COL: - Jake mentioned Haren and Upton, but what about Wright and Weiters?
NL Wildcard: Cubs :CHC: - I think this race will be wide open.  The Cubs have a lot of veteran talent (with plenty of ifs) and they appear to be active in FA, so there will be more to come

AL East: Yankees :NYY:  - This team was loaded, and then they signed players to extensions, are making a run at another solid SP, and made a huge trade with Toronto to have a lot of depth
AL Central: Indians :CLE: - Cleveland just missed the playoffs in 2009, and this offseason my man Chad has brought in some key players to turn this ship around
AL West: Athletic :OAK: - A-Ram, Morales, Josh Johnson.. Rob has brought and bought it all
AL Wildcard: Mariners :SEA: - Check out the rotation, his cap space, and imagine the MI and OF this rookie GM will HAVE

NL East - Phils - without a doubt, even though I am not a Jason Werth believer, they are pretty stacked

NL Central - Brewers - Braun, Prince and Prince Albert are tough to beat. Interested to see how Ben fills his line up out in FA.

NL West - Giants - Best pitching and line up is better than you might think.

NL wild card - Reds/ Pirates/ Cards/ D'Backs/ Padres - all have their strengths and weaknesses, but all should make it close. Pirates will need Alvarez, Reds will need Bruce to grow up and Hamilton to remain healthy. Cards need a star hitter but are solid across the board, D'backs need a bat, and Padres need pitching.

AL East - Yanks - I feel this needs no explanation, although Wells contract might even catch up to him. Tampa Bay could surprise with their young talent.

AL Central - White Sox - Good pitching, good line up... Indians will make it close

AL West - A's/ Angels - whoever doesn't win it, will win the wild card. Seattle will make it interesting, but injuries may catch up to his pitching staff. And Texas has the best line up in the division. Tough to beat Sizemore/ Kinsler/ Young/ Cruz.

Here are my guesses:

NL West: Rockies - Offense outweighs the SF SP.
NL Central: Brewers. but the Pirates and Reds are going to make this one fun.
NL East: Phillies - very solid team

AL West: Angels and A's duke it out.
AL Central: Indians - Very good, well rounded team.
AL East: Yankees - Excellent team

Wild Cards
NL: Pirates - even though he has Bobby Crosby on the roster vs. Reds.
AL: 2nd place between Angels and A's vs. the Red Sox

World Series:
Yanks defeat the Brew Crew

No love for the Red Sox here :). It is interesting how some owners have really improved their teams.

Those GMs have made a ridiculous amount of moves to change their franchise.  I have had plenty of failed trade talks in order to acquire the players I want.  Persistence is key in this game!
