Line-up Changes

Option 2 is really the fairest way to go as we all work different schedules and some of us work nights and can't make it to a computer during shift. I know I work until 9 am est (which is 6 am my time) and the first thing I want to do is not to update my rosters for the day yet I have to if we do option 1 where as option 2 I can sleep and then update my rosters when all the starting goalies are announced and scratches are announced.

Number 1 is more fair because we all have the same deadline to make changes. We all adjust our rosters and we all take the same chance of players/goalies being active that day. If someone works nights every week with no computer access, how do they make gametime decisions? Don't get me wrong, I love option 2 personally, because It is more realistic and I have access to computer anytime. I like things being fair for all.

So if someone works nights say 5pm to 5am like the mills your telling me that if they don't set their lineups friday morning for saturday nights game they miss out because of an early game on saturday and they had to work 5pm friday night. It doesn't seem fair to me

I don't understand what you are saying?  How do they make adjustments during the late games Monday to Friday? How is that fair to them? We would all have to put in our picks before 7PM EST and take the same chances on starters with the same info as well. My point is that you and I get to make changes but they do not.

So if I can only get on a computer from 12 pm - 4:30 pm because I work from 5 pm to 5 am and don't want to go on when I get home from work at 5 am because I am too tired and there is a early game on saturday, friday sometime between 12 pm - 4:30 pm I would have to set my roster for friday night and saturday. Make sense?? I don't think this is fair.

If you don't want to go on your computer after work then yes it is your choice. Yes it does make sense and it is fair to have the same deadline for everyone.

So after 12 hours of hard physical labor and how ever long it is a drive home at 5am. You think we should update our rosters on a hockey pool?? I know the first thing I would do is fall asleep at the front door if I could make it that far.

I know to some of us this hockey pool isn't the only thing in our life so we shouldn't be put at a disadvantage because of it.

I would. lol  You suggest that you go to sleep for 3 hours then wake up adjust you line up then go back to bed? I'm confused.

No if we have no one in the 1st game of the day then why not set your rosters later in the day option 2 let's u do that if u have noone playing in the 1st game where as option 1 makes u set your rosters a day before or when your tired after work I know personally getting off at 6 am I can harldy stay awake enough to get home the last thing I want to do is set my rosters for a hockey pool
