Well, this is a tough deal to do.  Gilly was looking for some cap room, and I ended up getting a lot younger.

Reimer is a huge contract to take on, but he is still young, and I have plenty of cap room next year, and his contract will be way less after next year.  I hate losing Malkin, but I am pretty deep at Center, and needed a RW really bad.  Kessel is a beast and still young (6 years younger than Malkin).  Doughty is another tough one to lose, but I needed to move some additional cap, and Doughty is paid just way too much.  Blum is a nice young piece that is in a new place and hopefully can perform for Minny. 

Thanks Gilly for the deal.  It went quick, but a lot of work on both of our ends!

Picks for the future, Geno, Doughty, Rid of Reimers huge contract, and more cap to spend, good times in Canuck land, now if Bryz would just sign with a team already lol..and now i focus on a few more deals, FA and a starter, but thinks are look good.. Kadri, Geno and Sharp in center land is a bit of alright to me, lots more work to go tho!!

Did i mention Geno could be a huge trade piece come deadline time for my team that will compete but most likely not for a cup unlese i hit a miracle

Hard for Gilly as at the moment he isn't rolling a Goalie at all, BUT, Reimer at 10M and will at best split time it's huge to get rd of that contract, plus no slouches coming VAN way with Drew and Geno
