Please note with the increasing amount of GM's bidding with short amounts of time left a new rule is now in place effective as of 10:00 pm eastern time Wednesday Evening.
When a bid is within 3 hrs of closing and you choose to bid on that FA, you must bid in an increment of 2 million
....sooo....
ex:
Steven Stamkoes has a bid going of 10 million
The GM who bid last bid is 3 hours from winning Steven as a FA, if you want to bid at this time you will be required to up the bid to 12 million. After which bid the clock is set 48 hours again and normal bidding procedures occur until the 45hr mark again.
Please keep in mind that the rule stateing after 10 million you have to bid in increments of 1 million is still in effect as the above rule change is only for when FA's are within 6 hours of closing.
Also because a FA is over 10 million doesn't mean the bid increment will be 2 million with the new rule + 1 million from previous rule.
From 0 hrs - 45 hours all normal bidding procedures occur as per rules
From 45 hours to 48 hours the above rule is in place.
Any current FA's within 3 hours of closing are now in effect under this rule, any bids up to this point that are within 3hrs ARE still VALID...Im simply saying that anyone choosing to now bid after this new rule is posted on a FA within 3hrs of closing will be required to adbide by the new rule!!
If there is an issue with this, than please PM myself or HockeyFreak as we didn't want to do this, but we all need to start respecting each other here!!
Thanks Everyone,
Gilly
