Anyone who has seen my roster knows that I had 3 goalies on one-way contracts. While I'm sure that Bryz will land somewhere, someone had to go. Gilly is stockpiling 1st rd picks like a mad man and he approached me about mine. You may have noticed my moves in FA and that I'm targeting D and a trade was born.

I hate giving up the 1st, but I expect to be a contender this season, so hopefully its a later pick!

I accept...I have plenty defense on main and some prospects as well...I grabbed Jordie specifically for this reason which was to trade to another team needing a d-man...as a result I have to take on Bryz, I can easily buy him out with my added cap all this year if I need to, but maybe he becomes the man? LOL

anyways heres hoping izaman sucks this year, no offense bro, LOL

That is a huge price for a salary dump. If Bryz can recapture his old forum, gilly wins this one. Sadly, I cannot see another team that would be able to help izaman in this predicament. It's still a win for gilly no matter where Toronto finishes in the standings, but it was a deal izaman had to do in order to adhere to the rules.
