does this trade to get a few young pieces since we are in rebuild mode. We hate trading Nino but we definitely make up for it in the 4 players we get back. I have no problem trading Rinne since we don't plan on extending him now or after the season since we have 2 young stud goalies in our minors (Gibson and Andersen). Rinne just isn't in our future plans with his age.

This was able to come together after my last trade in which I acquired Dillon. We had been going back and fourth for months since the last deal feel through and I finally had the pieces needed.

We are taking a bit of a risk of Rinne as he is fighting a serious E Coli infection but believe he should be back in the new year healthy. If he doesn't come back then at least he isn't signed to a long term deal that will hand cuff me.

Hoping the trade committee appreciates the work that went into finalizing this deal.

Good trade! Great to see the new owners getting busy and keeping busy building their teams.



Hopefully both teams can afford the new extension contracts of their new players.
Previous Preds owner drafted some stud prospect goalies that are sure to hit the NHL running ... Andersen already has.

Almost missed this trade.

Looks like it could be a killer deal for if Rinne can come back healthy. That could be a big upgrade over Halak. Skinner is injured but only 21yo. Domi is supposed to be amazing. Dillon hits everything that moves and scores a little. That package going to is solid man!
