It'd certainly keep the extensions well thought out.

What would an extension for a guy like stamkos look like if we he were extended?

1st so far this year and 4th last year so that would be 2.5 and I say we always round up so therefore he would fall into the #2 ranking and get that contract.

Id be ok trying it with averages.  We can always adjust if needed.

Ya cool, so amend it now haha. Another question when do amendments take place, like for example the scoring amendment? I obviously vote yes

Average is wrong too.. someone like Parise was 3rd last year and 74th this year (probably going down) for an average of 38th. That's way too low for a guy like him..I think taking the best year is better but that would need to include dropping the salaries a bit

Ya I was thinking about injuries as well because that will mess up salaries bad. I was thinking more of Savard though when I was looking at it. Maybe just raising salary cap for next year would be easier then changing all the values. But whatever I am a yes

I agree with Ted's numbers. It looks great.

Secondly Im in favor of your highest rank in the last two years. I do not think we should average them out. Too many factors can lead to a bad season and allow you to get a guy super cheap.
