Should we do this? It could be set up as it is in Fran GM (MLB). We'd need to agree on positional values though. Any thoughts?
Yes I fully think this would be a great thing to add to the league. Player will have to be established. Give me a few days and ill round up values. I think we all should and then agree on them once we form opinions.

In our league that number is 7.5 Mil.If anything it should be lower than the NHL because these are considered resigning salaries, not free market prices (i.e. player's get a home town discount)Next question is can we overpay to get a longer extension if we want to do so?Final question: how do we decide a player's salary if he's been injured? Do they get the same sort of deals? What do we do for people who aren't ranked i.e. Backup goalies.
