Franchise NHL / Re: Franchise NHL Trade Discussions
« on: February 08, 2012, 02:32:14 AM »
San Jose Sharks are fielding offers for these players.

Center -- Maxim Lapierre, $1.7m (2013-2014)

Left & Right Winger -- Andrei Kostitsyn, $4.0m (2013-2014)
Left Winger -- Clarke MacArthur, $4.7m (2012-2013)

Right Winger -- Jamie Langenbrunner, $1.5m (2012-2013)
Right Winger -- Joel Ward, $2.4m (2013-2014)

I'm looking for Prospects and less expensive players but I need ones that can still put some points on the big board.

currernt status:

pending OTT minor league roster opening up 1 spot to accept a new MiLR player ...otherwise it has 3 TC yes votes.

So is Ottawa going to drop someone or what? I'm eager to get this deal wrapped up.

You'll have to keep track on your own via Fantrax career stats feature or on another external site. Gudbranson has reached has played 41 career NHL games. So you've either got to sign, trade or release him since you've supassed 40 games. It might even be too late now.

Thanks Gilly. It sure makes navigating to this league much easier.

To Sharks
G - Peter Budaj, $1.9m (2013-2014)
D - David Schlemko, $0.5m (P-2012)
RW - Zack Kassian, $1.5m (2013-2014)

To Panthers
C - Mike Santorelli, $0.2m (2011-2012)
D - Roman Polak, $0.6m (2011-2012)
G - Thomas Greiss, N/C, (29 Games)

I feel Kassain was the key to this trade for my Sharks. He's going to be the whole package and just got called back up with Vanek going down. Schlemko is also going to rock very soon and has a high ceiling.

Exchanging back up goalies was no big deal either and I feel Budaj has a better chance of earning a starting job in the future more so than Greiss.

Finally I avoid paying Santorelli and Polak huge contract extension raises next season to the tune of 3.0m a piece so my Sharks are managing future cap space by making this deal.

We'll call up this future Power Forward stud to the parent club. Drafted by the New York Islanders in the 1st round (5th overall) in 2010. I will sign Nino to a 1 year Entry-level contract for 3m. Too bad we can't prorate his contract.  >:(

RW - Nino Niederreiter, N/C, (35 Games)

More moves to come as we need to shake up this organization!
Thanks

Franchise NHL: Completed Transactions / Sharks Buyout Bergfors
« on: January 26, 2012, 12:04:37 AM »
Because Niclas is stuck in Nashville's AHL system and not going to help us must down the stretch we're going to buy him out as soon as the trade with Ottawa goes through.

Buy out terms: Niclas Bergfors at $1.6m (2012-2013)

Thanks

  • Daddy: This 2024 NFL Draft class is better than 90% of every draft ive witnessed since 1980. In NFL LIVE if you arent a top ten team, i strongly urge that you invest in 2024 draft.

  • Daddy: Traded all your picks? So what
    Today at 02:57:32 PM
  • Daddy: Look at the Rams. Look how young my team is. I hardly ever draft. There is more than one way to invest in young talent. The easiest way is the draft but its not the only way.

  • Daddy: Unlike all these other sports, THE NFL IS A YOUNG MANS GAME. Hockey, Baseball, Basketball, play till your 40. Not just the greats... Jamie Moyer was never great, pitched till he was 44.

  • Daddy: NHL/NFL/MLB LIVE GMs be warned, if you miss a week, you miss a lot in those leagues. Take your time building, take your time evaluating, learn at your own pace.
  • Daddy: Just know, if you miss time at any point of the year, not just the active season. You have missed a lot. You've probably fallen behind your competition. Ten-Fifteen guys in all three of those leagues dont ever miss any opportunities.
  • Daddy: One more thing. The NFL LIVE waiting list is longer than you see on profsl or fantrax. There are people that know people that want in that league. No pressure on anyone but i cant just hold your franchise while you draft and do nothing else.
  • Daddy: i built College football for you guys that do that. Great scoring system, no trades, set your lineup and go getm! NFL moves too fast for that mentality. Apologies.
