I had no plans of moving Kessel until he hit the old age home, one cause he's amazing and two cause Im a homer for Leafs lol
However,
I get 4 alright picks and also land a nice two way in Toffoli and a cheap productive guy in Semin..I also save cap on this too
U really cant go wrong so I move the man, the myth and soon to be legend, and he will be missed.
This should be a hugeeee boost for PGK for his run this year, have fun with Kessel bro u bugger
Gill
Also below is the actual contract info and picks info as per PGK
Alexander Semin, $3.4m (2014-15)
Tyler Toffoli, $0.2m (2014-15)
All picks, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are
for
Phil Kessel, $5.4m (2013-14)

It is hard for me to do, but
I feel that this is a huge payment for a rental. But in the same respect, Kessel is ranked 4th in his position. It is hard to get studs in this league for picks/prospects, and when you are on a cup run, you need to get them however you can. This move will definitely help Winnipeg with its cup run this season and this move will definitely replenish Vancouver's barren minor system.

These members will now be the active trade committee. They are responsible for approving trades. Takes 3 approvals for the trade to be confirmed.
They are also responsible for:
Commenting on trades
Deciding who won/who lost
The fairness of the trade
Whether the trade was legit or set up
Whether the trade would be a detriment to that franchise or the league.
Theres not clear winner as the specs I get in the crappy draft picks are unknown...so its Tofli and semin for Kessel, theres nothing wrong with that.
This is legit, not set up
This trade is not a detriment to the franchise's or the league.
Vote based on the deal NOT on weather u want your competition to get stronger, if u wanted Kessel u should have asked!!

Listen, this is close to passing, but it is just too lopsided. I understand the thinking behind the deal, but it just doesn't work. Kessel is a STUD!!! And in my opinion, a player like Kessel is never a rental. With the cap going up next year, he is an easy re-sign.
Semin is only 29, and still has years to play at a decently high level.
Toffoli is a stud. He really has the potential of being a great fantasy player. He has already shown that he can put up great numbers. The picks, even though I know they are not locks, just takes it over the top. Just way too much for Kessel.
If it were Toffoli, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, then Pass.
If it were Semin, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, then Pass.
Even if it was Toffoli and Semin, then Pass.
But all of it is just too much.

Rebuilding doesn't happen overnight but I really like some of the players you are picking up

@idsjayhawk i understand that. To be clear, i wasnt judging anyone. I just know in NFL Live, you cant just draft 1-7 rds every year and sign a few FAs and be the champion. It wont happen

Agreed. I have Amon Ra St. Brown and Aiyuk because I traded JJ. I couldn't have acquired a player like ASB where I was picking in the 1st so I down tiered at WR to make a trio of Chase, ASB and Aiyuk instead of JJ, Chase and fill in the blank.

That is probably even more true in baseball since your drafts don't payoff for 5 years or so. And I will admit my conservatism may be the reason I only have one championship here at ProFSL

I'm contemplating doing a complete tear down in NFL Live and rebuild. Honestly, I probably should have postered for it to be this season. I still might, but I would legit need to go into the draft with 3-4 top 10 picks/+ many others.

Yea nailing drafts and some key FAs helps too. But if you remember BAB you traded alvin kamara for the rams 1-7 draft picks. So the extra picks helped you nail the 2023 draft the way you did

And brent a tear down with you assets would look interesting. Personally i just think you need break one big asset down into 3 good ones and move carr and go from there. But you have an A1 nfl mind so im sure you will nail whatever it is you decide

Thank you. Yes, I agree. I do need to break one asset down to 3. I did that with JJ, went from S tier to 2 A tiers. Now I need to potentially go from an A tier to 3 Bs or something like that. I've had some inquiries on Carr, but nothing worth moving him.
