cats continue to reinvent the franchise. I'm banking on Voynov getting reinstated. Austin Watson got a few games so Slava shouldnt be that far from a return. The 2nd is great for what we want to achieve.

Though I hope Voynov is not reinstated and I think Watson's suspension should have been longer.

:iata: I have to agree with Izman3. Longer suspensions should have been in order. Overall an interesting trade that could be fruitful or disaster in a few months.

This is only a good trade if Slava Voynov plays sometime soon.

Voynov returning this year is a bit of a longshot I'd think but the Eagles did break up and get back together and tour so anything's possible I suppose.

With Montreal moving a dead weight Voynov contract that doesn't come with a guarantee of actual playing time this year, the Canadiens win. That said, if Voynov is reinstated by the NHL, this becomes a balanced trade given his level of talent.
