I would like to see new meat own and run teams up for sale, but I can hardly blame PPG for purchasing them. If not for expansion, I would have bought them.

Different GMs have different philosophy on how to build a contender. Philly is already light years ahead of what I took over in Tampa or what jojo took over in Jersey, or Minny, Calgary, SJ, etc.

No other team in the league has 3 first rounders, isn't Picard a top or the top Goalie prospect in hockey? He has multiple top Forwards and Provorov on the back end.

Can't win it all today, I'm not saying that, but the foundation is strong. Hit on trades and the top 6 picks in the first 2 rounds of this draft, and I'm telling you they can win sooner than later.

I can see it, if nobody else does.

I'd love to see net new owners buy into FNHL.

Failing that, I will gladly welcome an existing owner who is motivated to compete on FNHL + add a team to their collection.

Can't think of a better owner for than the man who has been eyeing them since he joined FNHL in 2012.

THE END OF AN ERA IN FRANCHISE NHL - PAPPS RETIREMENT OFFICIALWITH FNHL FLYERS SALE!

PsychoticPondGoons simply could not resist investing in his fav hockey league nor his beloved Philly Flyers.

Investing $100 in a team that is below .500 and lacks a starting goalie tells you how much PPG believes in these FNHL Flyers or how absolutely nuts he is.

There was a line of interested buyers but ultimately PPG would have regretted not putchasing the franchise because it's the only time it has been offered for sale in the history of this league.

Watch out for new Flyers management to make changes.

Couldn't have worked out any better payout Papps for his FNHL retirement (hey what's he still doing over there in DNHL, Papps there's no money to be had in Dynasty brother).

I tried hard to resist buying the Flyers but you have to love being here and doing this because that's what it all about, having fun! So I coughed up the dough and now I'm Ed Snider. LOL

Things are going to happen in Philly. Probably in the new yr after I get a chance to soak in those Philly fumes and see what she runs. Looks to me like a bunch of kids need a good asskicking and some need to be dropped off at the nearest daycare.

Either way, there's going to be some finetuning in ORANGE & BLACK COUNTRY!

Today, PPG pays $100.00 to purchase the fantasy hockey team.

I don't see the Flyers as being all that bad. Maybe I view assets differently but I wish I inherited that team rather than the Tampa team I bought for $85 three years ago.

I think in that Division with expansion coming, that Flyers team could win it all even next season with a few moves and a strong draft.

I think you could easily see they are now worth north of 100 bucks

As for the FNHL Flyers, there's talent on the roster and plenty of it. What's lacking is depth.

No chance. Avs team that was just put up, we can talk about championship with that team.

Flyers got a bunch of big resigns to make too. Forsberg going from 2.0m to 7.9m, Seguin to 7.9M, Letang to 7M, etc. You can only pay so many guys with cap. Look at RL Blackhawks..... they could only sign so many that they dealt away Teuvo for cap relief.
