A lot of the contracts seem normal compared to some of the contracts handed out this yr in FA. Whooah!

You don't even need a bidding war, anymore. Just look at G extensions. Kuemper at 6M was a pretty big ripoff. Lehtonen at 9.7M was just as bad. 

LOL actually, I would of paid an extra 4M if Kuemper was getting more than 1 start every month (and If I was Minny, I wouldn't give him that much of an opportunity)

22. LW - Evander Kane, $9.0m (2012-2017) - this 2012 Free Agent bidding war contract is winding down

This is shocking though I can see how a player such as Evander would have received a Free Agent offer of $9.0m annually back in 2012 when team could only dream of his sky high potential.

Just got a 1yr retirement BO that cost the Nucks $8.2 million

31. D - Niklas Kronwall, $5.7m (2014-2018) - missed time + low production = overpriced
Getting Amnesty BO after the FNHL Finals wrap up!

32. D - Dan Hamhuis, $4.5m (2013-2016) - low output for hefty cap hit
Hitting the road after getting BO moments ago!

D - TJ Brodie, $4.9m (2015-2018) - another case of All-Star $$ for reserve D output


In this scoring system, he gets the short end of the stick. 37 assists is not a reserve D output, but the fact the guy is scared to hit kills all his value.

I think Brodie shouldn't be on the list.
His output is lower because he was hurt to start the yr.
