true but I don’t see it staying that way as drafted players develop. 2015 is a very strong class and one like that hasn’t hit since. Now as suggestions go we could look to recant the 82 game rule back to say 42 games.

I prefer the 82 games for most rookies since they are seemingly abused between professional leagues. The salary adjustments coming will help narrow league capital availability. I could see an additional tier for duration here to help encourage owners to pay up for an extra year.
An additional idea would be to do a three year performance schedule versus two and really restrict the number of favorable contracts.
